Art direction for this street intervention: painting the Rainbow Warriors symbol. A collective project undertaken during the indefinite civic strike caused by the political conflicts in Bolivia in 2019. This intervention created a secular space of hope and love for citizens walking to attend the *cabildos* (mass civic assemblies) convened at the foot of the Christ the Redeemer monument. Santa Cruz, Bolivia, 2019.
“The day will come when the greed of the white man—the *Yo-ne-gi*—will cause fish to die in the river currents, birds to fall from the skies, waters to turn black, and trees to lose their ability to stand tall. The day will come when we realize that all we are—our very existence—we owe to the peoples who have preserved their culture and heritage, to those who have kept rituals, stories, legends, and myths alive. And it is thanks to the knowledge they have preserved that we will once again find harmony with Nature, with Mother Earth, and with humanity itself. And we will discover that this knowledge is the key to our survival. These will be the Rainbow Warriors.” — North American prophecy.
